Gran Selezione is the highest destination in the Chianti Classico appellation, requiring the quality vineyards and longest ageing regimen to achieve Gran Selezione status. Cecchi began their Gran Selezione program in 2014, making this wine the fourth vintage produced. This wine showcases the quality and purity of the varietal with this vintage being remembered as one that was elegant, refined, and less powerful yet perfectly balanced.
15 months in French Oak followed by 3 months in cement, and minimum 1 year in bottle before release.
