Brilliant and intensive yellow in color with floral notes followed by more mature aromas. This Meursault is full, well balanced and round. There is a nice length in mouth brought by the minerality of the terroir.
Aged in 35% new oak barrels as well as in barrels of one or two years. After 12 –15 months the barrels are blended together just before the bottling.
After a manual har vest, a long and progressive pressing allows winemakers to select only the richest of the juices. The static racking, which lasts for 12 hours, helps to clarify the must which is directly put into the oak barrels for fur ther alcoholic fermentation.
