The Gaja family made history once again when it planted Sauvignon Blanc in the Barbaresco appellation in 1983. Today, the fruit for this mineral-driven expression of Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the original plantings in Barbaresco and newer vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba (in the Barolo appellation), roughly 7.5 acres in all.
Aging in oak for 6-8 months.

Floral, Orange, Peach, Lychee
Floral and intense, with a vibrant mix of tomato leaf, orange pith and lime. It manages to be both crisp and voluptuous on the mouth, with hints of peach, lychee, sage and elder.
Complex with a vivid structure and a refreshing acidity. Intense minerality on the long, lingering finish.
