This is very vinous with dried strawberry, mineral and stone undertones. Some white pepper, too. Full-bodied with a creamy texture. So fine. Flavorful finish. Intense. Needs food. From biodynamically grown grapes. A blend of 50% pinot noir, 30% pinot meunier and 20% chardonnay. Demeter certified. Drink or hold.

From a Lanson-owned vineyard, the Domaine de la Malmaison, this Champagne is beautifully balanced with steely acidity as well as a structure that gives the bottling aging potential. The wine's white- and yellow-fruit flavors are lifted by the pure line of acidity at the end. Drink now. Organic and biodynamic.

Racy acidity enlivens this lithe and vibrant Champagne, with the finely detailed mousse carrying well-knit flavors of black currant, slivered almond and whole-grain toast, revealing apple blossom, chalk and citrus accents on the finish. Disgorged March 2018. Drink now through 2024. 500 cases imported.

Disgorged in March 2018, the latest release of Lanson's NV Brut Green Label is showing very well, offering up aromas of buttered green orchard fruit, waxy citrus rind, white flowers and brioche. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and charming, with a crisply fleshy core of fruit, ripe but racy acids, and a nicely defined finish. It's a Pinot Noir-domainted blend sourced from an estate vineyard in Verneuil, and the grapes from which it is made are certified organic.
