This elegant white is made from the Friulano grape, which is indigenous to Italy. The grapes enjoy warm days and cool nights at high elevations lending the wine excellent acidity and structured minerality.
The wine is aged in the bottle for a few months before release at the winemakers discretion.
One part of the must undergoes malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels while the other part is fermented in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation. Both batches are stirred on the lees for 12 months then blended and bottled around September 1st (approximately from harvest).
