Aged for 15 months in 20% new American and Hungarian oak barrels. American adds sweeter notes while the Hungarian provide spiciness.
Each varietal is fermented separately from free run juice. The individual lots spend an average of 15 days on the skins. Upon completing primary fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

This 50/50 blend of Syrah and Zinfandel is mature with bright cherry jam aromas and big fruit flavors enhanced by hints of spice and lively acidity. The juicy entrance leads to nice mid-weight density and mouth-filling texture. The finish is long, balanced, and filled with mouth coating.
