Overview
Established in 1978, the Rose family estate vineyards are situated on the banks of the Wairau River (pronounced “why-row”). Pioneers in the Marlborough region, the Rose family selected vineyard sites along the banks of the Wairau River to grow their grapes. This river provides the wines with a distinct sense of place and the river’s stratification is the inspiration for the label design across all the brand’s varietals. The Pinot Gris is sourced from the Home Block family vineyard.
